This template amendment to an agreement is a legal agreement that can be used if you need to make an amendment to an original agreement that you have entered in to before. It sets out the changes from the original agreement clearly and requires all parties from the original agreement to sign off the amendments. Once the amendment is signed, the new or amended clauses are binding, alongside all of the unchanged clauses in the original agreement.
This agreement agreement template is recommended for if you want to make a change or add something to an agreement that is already in place, for example to extend the duration of a license, modify a fee structure, or change some particulars around intellectual property. It is never recommended to casually waive clauses in an original agreement between parties. Instead, it is important to formalise such changes with a proper agreement amendment such as this.
